The training consists of three training years – Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced. There are two 6-day modules in training year providing 12 days of classroom training per year - 36 days for the whole training. 

Tuition Fees

The training consists of three training years – Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced. There are two 6-day modules in each training year providing 12 days of classroom training per year - 36 days for the whole training. 

Tuition fees are paid annually. The tuition fee for each year includes:

  • Two 6 day modules of training with a SEI approved faculty member.

  • An assistant team to support your learning. We aim for a high ratio of assistants, typically it is 1 to 4 participants.

  • Access to our Student Portal where you will find:

    • Information about your training and the training team.

    • Access to videos of the lectures and demonstrations of your training.

    • Access to manuals on-line and downloadable as a PDF detailing all information presented in each module.

    • Slides and other teaching materials

    • An on-line session logging system

    • Reading lists for topics covered in the module for further in-depth reading.

Payment Options

The cost of the Somatic Experiencing Professional Training depends upon the payment option selected and whether a payment plan is requested for the option chosen.

Standard payment is due 30 days before the date of each training level.

Early bird discounts are generally available prior to of the commencement date of each training level. Please see the tuition fees section below to see when this applies.

Payment Plans are available on request. They are subject to a £30 administration fee and cannot be applied to the early bird price.

Scholarships

SOSI makes a limited number of scholarship places available for applicants working for NGOs, not-for-profit organisations and NHS staff.  SOSI also offers some concessionary scholarships for individuals dedicated to giving back to communities around the world; those who provide low-cost sessions to clients; and those who will use their SE training to inform research in trauma-informed healing. 

If you would like to apply for a scholarship, please contact Dawne and include a letter with your training application, endorsing your request   If accepted, SOSI will discuss with you how you plan to use the training to support your work, and how you may contribute to the field.
